TERMS & CONDITIONS
Reservation: - When making a reservation, you agree to the Booking Terms and Conditions outlined below.
1. All bookings and reservations are subject to availability and pricing at the time of booking.
2. You agree to pay for the amount stated in your check-out cart for all confirmed booking items made online.
3. Orders that are still on pending status are not confirmed until payment is completed.
4. Time limit will be given for orders that are still on pending status and auto cancellation will be effected once the time limit expires without payment.
5. All orders/ bookings that are "on hold" and/or "unpaid" status are not considered confirmed unless the status changes to "completed" and/ or "paid".
6. Taman Simalem Resort and/ or PT Merek Indah Lestari reserve the right to accept or reject payments by credit card which we may feel are of a fraudulent nature.
7. For protection against fraud and customer servicing, Taman Simalem Resort and/ or PT Merek Indah Lestari require identifying information to be provided at the time of online account registration. As part of our Privacy Policy this information is not shared with any third parties and are for reference ad servicing purposes only.
8. In the event of any unscheduled changes or cancellations due to third-party operators (e.g. transport operators or tour operators), you understand that it is outside the control of Taman Simalem Resort. However, we will assist you where possible to find the best alternative to the cancellation or refund your purchase in full.
Check-in/out: -
1. You agree to check-in using legal identity card or passport of a person bearing the name used to make the order/ booking. Taman Simalem Resort/ PT Merek Indah Lestari reserves the right to deny check-in in situation where no legal identity card bearing the name of the person booked is presented at check-in.
2. You agree to the check-in time being 1500 hour on the date booked and out at 1200 hour on departure date.
3. You agree that any request for early check-in/ late check-out is on management's discretion and subject to availability/ operational constraints and can only be advised at the time of check-in.
4. You agree to be charged an additional night rate should your booked and stayed room remain occupied by check-out time, unless prior approval has already been given by our Front Office.
5. A room security deposit of Rp 500,000 per room per night will be required at check-in to cover any incidentals or unexpected room charges incurred during stay. Room security deposit can be made in cash or by credit card. Cash payment will be refunded after deducting any incidental charges upon check. For credit card deposit, only credit limit equivalent to the deposit amount will be retained and the limit will normally be restored to you within 14 working days upon check out by your issuing bank.
6. You agree to settle all outstanding charges incurred during your stay at the time of check-out. In the event the charges are not settled in full at the time of check-out, you allow Taman Simalem Resort/ PT Merek Indah Lestari to effect payment by deducting any cash security deposit and/ or through your personal credit card made known to us.
Cancellation: - Must be in writing (email onlinebooking@tamansimalem.com) and subject to the following penalties.
1. No show on the date of arrival or up to two (2) days before arrival, is subject to forfeit of 100% of your payment.
2. Two (2) to Seven (7) days before arrival, is subject to forfeit 50% of your payment.
3. Eight (8) to Thirty (30) days before arrival, is subject to forfeit 35% of your payment.
4. Thirty One (31) or more days before arrival, is subject to forfeit 10% of your payment.
5. Bookings on certain promotional rates such as "Best Available Rate" cannot be cancelled and are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please read the rate description carefully at the time of booking.
6. Shortening of stay is considered cancellation and subject to cancellation penalties stated above.
7. In the event of a cancellation due to an act of nature, bookings will be permitted to be moved to another date (subject to availability). Otherwise, a refund of 75% of your total payment will be issued. 25% of your total payment will be subject to forfeit to cover administrative fees.
8. In the event where you wish to change your reservation date, you will write to us at least 7 days prior to arrival to cancel the existing bookings and advise the new booking date for equivalent room nights (subject to availability) based on prevailing rates. Rate difference may apply. Request for change of reservation date within 7 days prior to arrival is subject to cancellation penalties of the existing booking value as stated in point 1 and 2 above.
Payment: -
1. All online payments are processed using either Payment Gateway iPay88 or Paypal or any payment service provided.
2. You agree to register to be an account member of Taman Simalem Resort and provide the required member's details prior to making payment for your online purchases.
3. All rates quoted are in Indonesian Rupiah. However, due to Paypal's non acceptance of Rupiah as payment currency, your payment amount will be converted from Indonesian Rupiah to equivalent US Dollars based on our in-house exchange rate.
4. You agree to accept the conversion rate of our in-house exchange rate and being charged in US Dollar equivalent if you select Paypal as your Mode of Payment.
5. If you select to pay in other currencies other than Indonesian Rupiah for iPay88 or US Dollar for Paypal, you agree to the conversion rate used by the respective Payment Gateway and understand that these exchange rates have nothing to do with PT Merek Indah Lestari and/or Taman Simalem Resort.
Refund: -
1. Refund amount for payment done in credit card will be in Indonesian Rupiah, after deducting any applicable penalties and administrative fees stated under the cancellation policy. Applicable fees will be advised at the time refund is requested, depending on the mode of payment.
2. Refund amount by credit card will be credited back into the account you use to effect the payment.
3. Refund amount for payment done by bank transfer will be in the currency used for transfer. Please provide your bank account to us at the time of refund request.
4. You agree to refund process that may take up to 3 months (90 days) from the final refund amount confirmed to you by email.
5. You agree to accept whatever exchange rate used by the respective Payment Gateway to convert the equivalent Indonesian Rupiah refund amount to the currency of your account.
